Mithrandir Wang is a Chinese composer, screen scorer, and conductor based in Los Angeles. His work blends the Western and Eastern musical worlds, creating refreshing sounds to evoke rich narratives and emotional depth.

In the summer of 2025, he interned at Remote Control Productions, Hans Zimmer's company (Lion King, Interstellar, Dune). He also interned for film composer Max Aruj (Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning). Having scored 15 indie short films, 5 animations, 2 commercials, and 1 video game, his style covers fantasy, sci-fi, horror, comedy, romantic drama, and psychological drama.

He is currently pursuing his Master's degree in the USC Screen Scoring program. His wind symphony piece “Scratch Line” was selected as the required piece of The 26th Student Art Festival in Beijing and was performed by every elementary school wind band in Haidian District, Beijing. He conducted the world premiere of his orchestral piece “Ao Miao”, one of the two winning pieces of the 2023-2024 SSO Call For Score Competition, in the SSO 2024 Spring Concert.
