For me, music is magic. It is a spell that captivates heart and mind. When I get shivers and goosebumps from music I know it hits the mark.

I am a lifelong composer, musician and creator passionate about story telling and film music. I started composing at age 8 and never stopped. Music is in my head all day long, just waiting to be born. Growing up in Germany I was strongly influenced by European culture, movies and music. I got my first synth (Roland D-50) in 1987 and have since owned many hardware synths, programmed endless sounds, built home studios, recorded audio since the days of tape machines as well as played in and live recorded with orchestras. I did my undergraduate studies in film scoring, orchestration and songwriting at Berklee Online.

While I love all my many plugins and software synths, what really makes my heart pound is working with live orchestra, collaborating with session musicians, vocalists, lyricists and professional audio engineers to capture the finest nuance of performance that resonates at the deepest level.
