Hello, thank you for checking out my page!

My name is Satoki Takamatsu. I am a composer, producer and arranger from Tokyo, Japan, who has dedicated their life to understanding music as a tool for story telling, and creating a better environment for everyone to breathe in.

I have just recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with a dual degree in Film Scoring and Contemporary Writing & Production with a minor in Game Scoring. At graduation, I was lucky enough to be able to arrange a 4-piece medley of songs by Ledisi at the Commencement Concert and to top it off, my piece was chosen as the commencement processional piece performed as we walked in.

My strengths in composition lie in my versatility in writing in a variety of styles ranging from sweeping orchestral music, jazz, ambient, pop, all the way to electronic music. As of now. I have collaborated with various film makers as well as animators around the world in realizing their visions. Recently, I have been looking into exploring my creativity in realizing soundscapes through various textures ranging from orchestrations to sound design.
