Hi!! My name is Chen Gao, a composer born and raised in Beijing, China. I came to study in the states in 2018 and earned a BA in economics and music composition.

I’ve always loved watching movies, tv, and anime since I was a kid. In watching these works I enjoyed the beauty and value of storytelling and discovered my affinity with it. Later on, when I started scoring for short films, I realized how satisfying it was for me to be part of a collaborative creative project, fulfilling other people’s vision through my music. I hope to continue exploring my musical identity and contributing my passion and skills to accomplishing more visions in the future.
