Cameron Adams
Hi, my name is Cameron, and thank you for checking out my page!
Inspired largely by the works of John Williams and Michael Giacchino, I am determined to continue the tradition of writing for live orchestra with an emphasis on developing memorable themes that linger with audiences, creating images of a story as vivid as the film itself. Further inspired by the works of Hans Zimmer and Emile Mosseri, I am interested in expanding and modifying the traditional instruments of the orchestra and seamlessly blending live recordings with synths and textures to create unique soundscapes. With a background as a percussionist, I also eagerly jump at any opportunity to write epic or large percussion-style scores.
Having my own experience writing and directing short films, I approach film scoring with the mindset of a filmmaker, considering the musical auditory element of film just as vital of a storytelling device as the visuals. As the composer, I aim to form a close working relationship with the director and maintain good communication in order to ensure my music serves the picture and deepens the story.
If you are interested in collaborating or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out, as I am happy to chat and see if I may be a good fit for your project!
