Tao Liu

Hi, I'm Tao Liu (Also known as Yuwen Shuo or Wenshuo Yu). I'm a film and multimedia composer from China.Having scored two feature films, a television feature film, a documentary film, two commercials, a video game and 16 short films, I have gained experiences on how music and visual media can work together well, as well as how composers and other film making crew can work together well. In 2010, a short animation I did called "Hi Baboon!" got a nomination for best original score in the national college film festival of that year.
Before coming to SMPTV program at USC, I got an MA in Filmology & Film Scoring at Beijing Film Academy studying as well as doing assistant job with Professor Wang Liguang.
I'm very excited to have the opportunity to study at USC and working with talented directors, fellow composers and musicians here.
