Starting his career in the music industry at an early age, Brian opened his first recording studio in San Diego, California when he was only 20. Acting as producer, engineer and studio musician, he quickly established a name for himself and eventually word of mouth brought him clients from around the world. As he began working for more prominent record labels and management firms, orchestral composition and arrangement became a large part of the job. It wasn't until then that he realized his true love for film music.

Over the years, Brian has accrued a large body of works in many different genres and styles. Music he's worked on has been used by Sony, Warner Music Group, Universal Records/Legendary Media Group, ABC, MTV, ESPN, Authentik Artists, Gascan Music and many other record labels, music publishers and television networks. In addition, he won a Los Angeles Music Award for "Best Single of the Year" in 2006 and was nominated for an Emmy for "Best Composition/Arrangement."

Brian looks forward to learning from the experienced SMPTV faculty and working with his talented colleagues through 2012 and 2013.
