Nick Kenworthy-Browne

Born and raised in Oxford, UK, I've been writing music since the age of 6, though hardly to the level Mozart did! My first degree was in Music with Business Studies, which was followed by a stint working as a rowing coach and bar man while composing a musical and several short films. I then won a scholarship to Berklee College of Music where I gained a Professional Diploma in Film Scoring in 2004. While there I was lucky enough to write a couple of short charity based documentaries that aired on the National PBS network under the auspices of a show entitled "Vissionaries".Following this I returned to the shores of the British Isles to seek my fortunes in the British Film Industry. Alas to no avail, and when the credit crunch hit in 2008 it took with it my first decent contract, 26 episodes of a second season children's animation series due for world wide release. Never one to lose heart, I regrouped, applied to USC and am now joining my fellow students for what will undoubtedly be an exciting year on this course.I have only a few examples of my music here, but in general I can turn my hand to most styles that might be wanted. More will follow, and if you have any questions regarding how I can help you with your film project, please don't hesitate to contact me.
