I am originally from Tulsa, OK and received my Bachelor of Music degree in composition at Texas Tech University in 2008. Classical piano was my primary instrument and saxophone was my secondary instrument with an emphasis on jazz. In spring of 2009 I studied under two-time Emmy award winning composer and orchestrator Hummie Mann at the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program. I enjoy writing in different styles for both small ensemble and the symphonic orchestra.

My favorite composers include John Williams, James Newton Howard, Christopher Young, Bernard Herrmann, Michael Giacchino, John Powell, and Thomas Newman. I am excited to be here in Los Angeles collaborating with filmmakers and game developers in the industry and finding my own voice as a composer.
