SCOR 523A

With an emphasis on Logic Pro, Patrick covers many technical aspects of using a DAW in modern day screen scoring, including MIDI editing, conforming to picture, as well as audio editing and manipulation techniques. This 15 week course takes place in the fall semester.

SCOR 523B

After a brief introduction to electronic synthesis, Patrick covers basic electronic music production skills applicable to contemporary screen scoring. Creating professional sounding mock-ups is a second focus of this course. This 7 week course takes place in the spring semester.

SCOR 502

A weekly one-on-one lesson of critiquing assignments with the goal of improving story telling and feel for dramaturgy. Patrick teaches SCOR 502 in both the fall and the spring semester. 15 weeks (2 units)
