My focus has been on the classical side. I studied piano and organ performance, finishing with a doctoral degree from The University of Michigan. The idea of composition came just a couple of years ago in 2015, but I hit the ground running. A few credits so far include Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Visionworks, The Henry Ford Cancer Center in Detroit, The American Fallen Soldiers Project, and Methodist Hospital in Dallas.
While composition is fairly new to me, the professional music world is not. I have multiple decades of experience in solo concertizing, chamber music work, teaching, and accompanying. I believe these experiences all come together to create a successful project, through excellent musicianship skills, communication, and an overall collaborative attitude.
