Hi, my name is Samuel Lam. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, I immediately moved from Boston to LA to pursue my dream of film scoring. I interned in several studios of composers such as Henry Jackman, Dominic Lewis and Jeff Russo, and have soon realized that I have to better equip myself to work in the film music industry. That is why I applied for the SMPTV program.

I love the collaborative environment in USC. Before I applied for the program, I have already involved in over fifteen projects by SCA students, mainly as a composer, and also on set with roles such as sound mixer, boom operator and 2nd AC etc. I want to learn and help every aspects behind the storytelling of a film, and I am looking forward to working with you guys!
