Jen is an LA native, who got her start in 'the biz' at a young age. She began playing violin at the age of four, and was featured a year later performing on the TV show, "Full House" (the clip is on her website). After attending the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts, she studied music and psychology at Bennington College in Vermont. She also spent a year abroad in Ireland, learning fiddle and drinking lots of beer (no, not Guinness). Recently, she completed UCLA Extension's film scoring program. Aside from film, she has written music for numerous dance projects and theatrical plays, including Altarcations, which premiered at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2013. Jen loves listening to the big Hollywood scores, but her preference is to write for unusual instruments and smaller ensembles.
